My goodness what a wonderful place! I’m so sad I didn’t try it sooner!!! Firstly the warm welcome by the guy at the door who checked our reservation then the wonderful food! The platter for 2 was wonderful, the food was full of flavours and the service was impeccable! All the staff are very engaging! I would definitely recommend this place especially for special occasions as they have such as good atmosphere for celebrations
Mavi Ruya was a recommendation, and we weren’t disappointed. Arriving on a Tuesday evening for a birthday meal, we were pleasantly surprised by how busy it was, service was prompt, the selection of dishes were great. We chose the sharing platter with mezze. The desserts were very good, especially the baklava. Everything was so tasty, and very reasonably priced, we have already recommended to other friends. We will definitely be returning.
I ate here with my best friend tonight and had an amazing time. This is the most amazing restaurant I've been to in Sheffield. The decoration, atmosphere, food, and even the passion and knowledge, as well as the service, of the staff is so traditionally wonderful. The food was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. I had the Kleftiko and it was the first time since 2004 that I'd had this meal. I couldn't remember how it tasted but i certainly wasn't disappointed. The staff have an amazing sense of humour and their knowledge of where the food comes from in Turkey, how they prepare it depending on which region they're in is outstanding. Worth every penny and cannot wait. If I could give 1000 stars on this review, believe me, I wouldn't hesitate to give 1000 stars. I've never had such a perfect meal in my life. Absolutely fantastic evening. Everything about it was amazing. The food 1st class service was the best . Honestly, I can't rate it high enough. I can't wait to return. Fab surprise for my sons birthday too .love the music they play for celebrations
I've visited this restaurant several times, and it's simply the best. The decoration is lovely, the ambience is cozy, and the food is amazing and delicious, complemented by friendly and fast service.
I was recommended this place from a friend so I decided to book for last night as it was my birthday. On arrival we was made to feel welcome and seated straight away. The service was fantastic and was recommended to try the sharer platter for 2 people which we did. The food was amazing and would definitely be coming back soon . Thanks again (for the birthday candle and song lol)
